This boy we love

There are two things Simon has said recently that I want to remember...

The first was a couple nights ago when I went in to check on him before I went to bed and I covered him back up. He woke a little, looked at me, smiled and said, "you're the best." And then he shut his eyes and went back to sleep. And then my heart exploded and I went to bed.

Then yesterday he drew a heart with a line through it and gave it to the neighbor boy when Simon was mad at him. Then Korvan came out saying that Simon said he hated him. We asked Simon about the drawing and he said, "It just means that my level of love was low." My method of disciplining at this time was to turn around so as not to let me see him laugh and let Bryan swoop in and deal with it. 

So those are the two things. Freaking love this kid.
